Anthology Senior Living’s response to COVID-19 / MARCH 24

March 24, 2020

To Our Residents, resident families and team members:

As we all continue to witness the rapid, global spread of COVID-19, I am reaching out to update you on the additional precautionary measures that we have instituted at all Anthology Senior Living communities starting this week. I am also extremely thankful to report that as of date, we continue to have no known incidence of the infection in our Anthology communities. We are doing everything possible to ensure it continues to remain so.  However, we are also prepared with effective protocols, supplies, and procedures should the need arise.

We remain steadfast in our commitment to the health and safety of our residents and team members as our top priority. We are constantly monitoring the evolving situation with COVID-19 and, in accordance with the CDC and other health agencies, are continuously evaluating our policies and taking extra precautions to protect our residents and team members.

To ensure the continued wellbeing and safety of our residents and team members, we are implementing social distancing to reduce the size of gatherings in our communities, especially at mealtime.  We are limiting communal dining to clusters of 10 residents or less, spaced at least 6 ft. apart in dining areas. Residents will also have to preorder their meals the previous evening for the next day. They will get to preorder from a streamlined menu for all three meals, with set times and locations for food service.

We will extend community visitation limitations by an additional 14 days and salon services will continue to remain closed effective March 27, 2020. We realize that these visitor restrictions prevent visits from loved ones which are an important part of our residents’ lives. Though not an optimal alternative, given the current situation, we encourage loved ones and family members to connect with residents through face time, skype, phone, and other remote methods.

We have also enacted thoughtful PTO policies for team members at the community level to protect them financially should they show symptoms of COVID-19 and not be able to come to work.

We will continue to update residents, resident families, and team members as new information becomes available.  Updates will be posted both on our website at www.anthologyseniorliving.com and via email. Should you have additional questions do not hesitate to reach out to the community Executive Director or email our corporate team at information@anthologyseniorliving.com

We are so thankful for our dedicated team members who continue to deliver quality care and services to our residents. We also thank our residents and their family members for entrusting their loved ones in our care. Please do not hesitate to reach out.  The Anthology team is highly focused on making sure we keep our residents and team members safe.

Sincerely,
Benjamin Burke signature Anthology Senior Living
