ANTHOLOGY SENIOR LIVING’S RESPONSE TO COVID-19 / APRIL 26
April 26, 2021
Dear Anthology residents, families, and team members:
It’s hard to believe May is just around the corner. Thank goodness it looks just a little different than the same time last year. I think our communities are certainly ready for some Mother’s Day brunches and al fresco dining on the patio.
May is a big month for Anthology as we celebrate our Anniversary with Spirit Week from May 10th –14th! This year we invite our residents to participate along with team members for daily prizes, as well as a grand prize for participation all week long. With days like “Sports Team Day,” “Decades Day,” “Wacky Tacky Day,” “Tropical Island Day,” and “Twin Day,” you can be sure we’ll have some fun times together.
May will also be our first full month of operation for our two newest communities in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania and Midlothian, Virginia. The teams have been busy readying the buildings and just recently began admitting new residents. We couldn’t be happier to welcome them home to such beautiful communities! Starting May 1st, Anthology will also add three new communities in South Jordan, Utah; Overland Park, Kansas; and Mason, Ohio. Each of these were developed and are owned by our parent company, and we are now transferring management to Anthology. To say it’s been a busy few months would certainly be an understatement.
We would also like to announce the extension of our Resident Appreciation Month, where we encourage you to refer your friends and family to Anthology. Residents can earn a $5,000 rent credit per move-in in the months of April and May! The first $2,500 is awarded at move-in, and the second $2,500 is awarded after 90 days of occupancy. If you love your community, spread the good word and take advantage of some extra rent savings.
Our COVID-19 numbers continue to look great. As of this writing, we have no active cases among residents or team members and high levels of vaccination. Communities will schedule additional vaccination clinics as new team members and residents join the Anthology family. We are staying up to date on the latest CDC and CMAS guidelines and adapting our policies to the extent allowed by state and local health authorities. We continue to monitor county positivity rates and test our staff on a weekly basis so that 100% of our workforce gets tested in a month. We will not lose focus on the things that make our communities safe, and will continue to innovate and change as appropriate.
I’ve had the pleasure of visiting several of our communities in the past month, and it really does warm the heart to see families back in the buildings to see their loved ones. It’s also so much fun to see communal activities come back to life – the communities really are humming with positivity and activity. You might see members of our Regional teams visiting in the communities to help with onboarding new team members, training, quality control, and program implementations. Be assured that they are vaccinated and undergo all requisite team member screenings in order to keep community members safe.
I want to extend a warm welcome to the Culinary, South Jordan, Overland Park, and Mason employees who formally become Anthology team members by the first of May. We hope this will be an enjoyable new chapter in each of your stories, filled with personal and professional growth!
We will continue to update you and maintain clear and open lines of communication. Feel free to reach out to your community's Executive Director, or to our corporate team at email@example.com.
